DIY : glittery shoes

Thank you for reading my blog.

I didn't have enough time blogging these past 3 weeks, because I was busy at work. And because in my work I have to be very creative at times (well, all the times) I decided to take some pictures of the beautiful shoes that I was assigned to do. I used hot glue gun in order to glue all the lace and pearls and rhinestones and at first I decided to do some kind of symmetrical pattern for both shoes (picture first layer of lace + outer view + inner view). Then you just fill the space between the lace with stones and pearls. If you are wondering how much time did it take - I spent about 3 days making them ( probably 10 straight hours ).

You need lots of patience and imagination - really!

How to Be a Wingwoman

Wingwoman

The friend who will stay by your side when you go out and/or dance with you while clubbing in order to keep the ugly/creepy/scary guys at bay. Unlike a Wing Man, this is not the girl who occupies the hot guy's ugly friend. Unlike women, guys have no problem ditching their friends for the hook-up (they just say, "peace out, man, I got to go tap that" and the discussion is closed). Wing Women are usually hot or at least cute so that they are easy to pass off if there happens to be a not so ugly/creepy/scary guy with whom the other woman would like to hook up. The Wing Woman position may be held simultaneously within a pair or group of women.

1. If in a group setting, stand one person away from your guy (We'll refer to the guy you're helping out as your "guy" from this point on) to show other women that he's not your boyfriend.
2. If it's just the two of you (which is fine), make a little space between you and avoid touching him too much.
3. Look out into the crowd, keeping an eye out for potential women. It also shows that you're not consumed by his conversation.
4. Approach girls and start a conversation, but don't mention your guy yet. You can compliment something she is wearing to create a friendly vibe. Once you bring her back to the group, you can introduce them and start them on a conversation of their own. (E.g., make it appear coincidental that they might be attracted to one another.)
5. Find something to link to two in conversation. If you know about a certain interest that they have in common, mention it off-handedly, to get them going on the topic, but join in as well—don't just disappear. It will make both parties more comfortable.
6. Once they seem to be hitting it off, excuse yourself to get another drink or say a quick hello to someone else.
